Student notebooks should be used for more than just storing student papers and worksheets.  During this session, participants will learn why we should use Writers’ Notebooks, how to set up them up so that they are “living” tools for teaching and learning writer’s craft and building a life-long love of writing, and several highly engaging writing activities to use during the first few weeks of introducing Writer’s Notebooks that will spark the “writer within” all students. Writers’ Notebooks are the ELA teachers’ most valuable tool!
